You see, the truth is, the armed services will never allow the number of "actual" suicides to be posted. There are so many soldiers that take their own lives in Iraq and Afghanistan, the true number will never be published, just like the reason for this war will never be told.

Fallen but not forgotten: 'Under investigation'

my heart goes out to the women and children left behind.
I am a mother of 4 boys, 3 are military and I pray for
the safety of all that are serving. Thank you for all
you are doing for us, back home.

Fallen but not forgotten: 'Under investigation'

Every person that volunteers for military service knows that they will generally be working in a dangerous job with no guarantee of personal safety. That being said, people still volunteer to go to war and be in these jobs willingly and in most cases they grow and prosper. Not everyone is cut out to be deprived of their family and to make the hard sacrifices it takes to be a warrior.I wish to personally thank each and every service member that has served honorably for my freedom and the right to express my opinion here on this web site. Nobody knows war like they do. I love America, and those who choose to fight for American freedom. They are true heroes. Even if i dont agree with politics. Lets take care of our young men and women coming home. I firmly feel that God has nothing to do with this war. Thou shalt not kill... Veterans should remember that they are owned and operated by the Military. And what they did, was done for the betterment of America. Feel no guilt because you were ordered to perform these duties. Meet our Veterans with open arms when they return home. And ask how you can help them upon their return. If you return from war disenchanted, fight for the issues you want changed upon your return. After all you earned the right to speak your mind. Many veterans return home to find their wifes or husbands have found new romance. Or money can be big issue. Or just the guilt of doing what they were ordered to do. Suicide is no answer, Its an end. But not a solution. Ask for help?
