Now that casualties have fallen somewhat, allowing the military and the administration to claim success, there's a danger we will forget the sacrifice of these young Americans. Their loss is just as profound as the death of those who died in the months when a hundred or more of their colleagues perished. Stop this ridiculous war, which was sold to the American people under false pretenses. No more Americans need die over there.

Any deaths in wartime are horrible, but, why does not any of the mainstream media report that not one US or Iraqi soldier was killed last week in Anbar Province, which includes Baghdad?

we need to support our troops!!! no matter what your opinion is on the war and our government. these guys deserve better than what they have been getting, main stream media and the military should be reporting the deaths of these men and women to the public, i think thats a disgrace to a fallen solider for they have paid the ultimate price for our country...we need to know who these heros are cause truly they are the ones they put themselves bewteen us and them...

These sailors, soldiers and marines are driving by HONOR, COURAGE AND COMMITMENT. These core values are at their purest in battle. They cannot find these values when they come home; thus they return to battle and make the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Nine brave American's have lost their lives for nothing! I listen to talk-raqdio everyday and the shows on the right do not want anykind of troop withdrawl. These shows says that this "KUT RUN?SURRENDER". But, here it is Monday in the USA and I'm reading headlines that say "NINE US SOLIDER'S HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES" How many more American's have to die and seriously wounded in this war? THE US HAS THE WEAPONS TO WIN/END THIS WAR TOMORROW. BUT BUSH AND LEIGION OF KOOL-AIDE DRINKERS WILL NOY USE THEM. ARE AMERICAN LIVES EXPENDABLE? THE SUFFERING OF THOSE SERIOUSLY WOUNDED WORTH IT?
Who knows what the death toll for US troops in that worthless toilet (iraq,afghan)will be on Tuesday. My heart goes out to the love ones who are grieving for their loven ones. I hope and pray that those seriously wounded receieve the best medical and mental illness treatment that they deserve.
