Simanek,a dedicated Marine and very brave. Having had two uncles serve in World War II this family has definitely served our country greatly. It is astonishing that even though he couldn't move his legs he was able to direct the tank and artillery fire. When the President told him to turn around and face the crowd I'm sure there were many proud faces looking up at him. We salute him proudly and with great honor!

Medal of Honor: Robert E. He would rather talk about golf! In fact, he used to say he did not know if he was going to get the MOH or get in trouble for going up that hill without making sure the enemy had left. I was very proud to have met Bob and am thankful there are men like him defending our liberty.

Medal of Honor: Robert E.
