Good Evening Mr.Quintanilla, Nice to see you this evening for the broadcast! Another fine broadcast this evening. First of all the report by Mr.Miklasweski concerning the captured soldier PFC Bowe Bergdahl in Afghanistan. The video of PFC Bowe Bergdahl is heartwrenching because it is such a scary situation and to hear him speak about possibly not being able to go home is heartbreaking. Hearing him speak about missing his family all the time and how unnerving it it to be held hostage is frightening. teh taliban is using the tape as propaganda and seems to believe it helps their cause. I hope so very much that PFC Bowe Bergdahl is released unharmed and returned safe and sound to his family. I wish all the US troops in the region of Afghanistan could come home as soon as possible. My thoughts and prayers go out to PFC Bowe Bergdahl and his family. May he come home safe and sound to his family.

On another note the report by Mr.Costello concerning the deep travel discounts offered by hotels,resorts and airlines shows how the travel business is in a slump and that is why prices are so very low. Seeing the low fares airlines are offering to the public is incredible and for many this is a great deal. So many families are cutting back in expenses for travel and now that school will be starting next month retirees may be taking advantage of the deep discounts. Hopefully, things will begin to get better as the months go on.
The piece by Mr.Yang about Tom Watson and his quest to win the British Open showed how at any age determination is key to being successful. It is really too bad Mr.Watson didn't win the British Open and lost by only 6 strokes to Stewart Cink who won. I was rooting for Mr.Watson to win along with many people. The dream almost came true. Mr.Watson played a great game! He is a great golfer!

If there is more than a two minute blurb dedicated to the Steele press conference, it should be noted that he got through the entire event WITHOUT using a teleprompter.

"You have to buy it now" is a line of a shifty car salesman.

By demanding Congress do his bidding, President Obama shows a blantant disregard of our Constitution. Mr. Obama is NOT the boss of Congress. Congress is the president's boss. We the People are the boss of Congress.

Thanks for filling in for Lester. I always enjoy your reports.

I hope Bowe Berghdahl will be rescued very soon. as Jim pointed out, time is of the essence. As the sheriff in Bowe's hometown has said, the family appreciates the cards, flowers and well wishes, but they need privacy. I can't imagine what they're going through. And now is not the time for anyone but the military to figure out and speculate how Bowe's kidnapping happened. I've heard several disresptful comments on and off the air over the last couple of days. And I do believe that the kidnappers are keeping up with what is said on tv. No one has the right to be saying that Bowe may be here or there. Sometimes the media can be so ignorant, even former military personell who have become "correspondents." But keep up the great work Carl. And we'll look forward to your reports and also being on the Today Show.

Why haven't we heard about the US soldier that has been kidnapped by these coward people who call themselves the "taliban"? Has anyone heard from him since the realease of the video in July? I am so upset that the story was all over the news for two days and now it has vanished. Also, the low life woman who killed her daughter's friend and put her in a suitcase? What has happened to this evil piece of waste?
