Important part of Shake-a-Leg-Miami (SALM) is the amazing job that its big group of kind volunteers do for free to keep the center operating.
Also woth noticing is the US Sailing Center, one block north of SALM, where access to world class sailing costs only $99/month @ Sail-laser.com

I love the Shake-A-Leg sailing club. It is amazing. One more thing... thanks for coming up with GOOD news. I have heard many friends echo my sentiment lately - that to listen to the news very long is too depressing, so that many of us are now restricting the amount of time we listen to it. I heard a wise person once say, "You move toward what you are looking at." I believe it is true. Yes, I do want to know of bad things happening, especially if I can speak out on them or have a way to have an effect. However, we MUST look toward the positive if that is the direction we want to go.
I hope to see more of this positive news in the future. Thanks!

Story telling has been a source of education and inspiration for centuries. We are honored and proud that Mike and NBC choose to tell the Shake A Leg Miami story…a place where people come together to help others help themselves on the magical waters of Miami Biscayne Bay.
