Army Sgt. Cornelius Charlton, one of the last of the all-black Buffalo Soldiers and a recipient of the Medal of Honor for his heroics during the Korean War, has finally been laid to rest at Arlington

Fallen but not forgotten: Sgt. My Dad was in the Navy and he illegally enlisted at 17 years old. I heard so many stories from him it seems sence the time I was born until he died. I know so much about an Air Craft yet I've never been on one. He was stationed at Great Lakes Illinois and I took my kids to see where their GrandFather once was. I know my Dad is proud as one grandson and granddaugher have served but in the Army.

Army Sgt. Charlton like Americans of all colors loved his country and gave his life to protect the USA. It's strange to here so many Law Makers and other Americans say who does and who doesn't love the USA. I also notice when the calls comes to protect America only the real Patriot. Most of our current Law Makers dodged the draft by either fake illnesses or 5 deferements. I have met hundreds of our Military men/woman because of my kids. One thing the media or Law Makers can't explain is how much these soldiers love each other and have each others back. Today race is out the window. Their so young yet smart and stronge but always with respect and that's what I've experienced first hand. Sgt. Charlon would be proud of our current Army and sadden by the current Commander-in-Chief.

I've seen so many wrongs this country has done now become right. I saw a lady who worked her hold life at the White House but had to use the rear door. President Clinton heard the story and invited her to the White House and walked her in the front door. I saw men who had been used as test for a diease but only to see Clinton apologized for the few who lived.
So much of our pass is painful and horrorable but as President Elect Obama said we can do this and change has come. We should honor Americans of all color who gave their lives to America as we have trutly grown as a people.

Fallen but not forgotten: Sgt.
