Good Evening Mr.Holt, Looks like another broadcast will make the airwaves again for a weekend day! Yeah! Two days in a row that is great! Hopefully, the opening for the financial markets won't be too dramatic, but time will tell. One always hopes for the best in these situations.
Both candidates prepare for one more final debate this Wednesday and I hope everything goes well. With only a few more weeks to go until the election I cannot wait until this is finally decided.

I agree that Sunday is the new Monday, and
approps I vaguelly remember a movie called:
"ONLY ON SUNDAY". I like the concept
"of the new" especially when it is applied
to age i.e. 40 is the new 30.

As for Bill Clinton saying they have the
best supporting cast, that remains to be
seen, but it is "Showtime."

I am hearing so many threats, warnings,
gloomy predictions, I can only say with
Alaska's Stevens, "I hope to Christ it
never gets to that."

Good Evening,Another fine broadcast this evening and again th focus is the economy for another Sunday. First of all the report by Mr.Corke concerning the meetings held here and in Europe to help shore up the ability for banks to lend to small businesses and homeowners hopefully will have a positive outcome. Action is needed and as soon as possible. The opening of the Asian Markets might be the first indication of what to look forward to on Monday and the rest of the week. Time will tell and I truly hope it is good.
On another note the report by Mr.Mullen concerning the terrible wildfires in California seem to have caused great damage to many acres and homes. With it being tghec driest fireseason and the Santa Ana winds it is hard to battle mother nature. I hope they get some relief very soon.
On the report by Michelle Franzen about retail sales and how many stores are putting up sale signs for deep discounts it is certainly evident in any store one enters. Going to major department stores one can really save even on most merchandise because the store wants the consumer to buy. I'm sure it will help alittle with the holiday season shopping although people are watching their pennies with this horrible downturn of the economy so as the holidays get closer the numbers will tell the story.
Finally, the report by Anne Thompson from the series "Our Planet" was interesting dealing with drilling in the catskills for fuel for natural gas. The high price per acre sounds great for the region, yet would it be good for the people living there and would it be safe for the water. One must keep the water safe for the residents along with makaing progress in energy.

Hi Lester good show tonight.
Ask Ron Allen by he doesn't ask Mitt Romney if he's up set and then go to the other candidates of both Parties. Hillary has raised money and campaigned for Obama and she strongely supports him. Tell Ron Magic, Larry Bird and Isaiah Thomas fought for the championship but remain friends,

Matthew Shepard's murder showed how much we have to do to respect our differences. Sad to say we still have a lot of work to do. I'm proud of the States that have allowed equal rights to gays and all people.

I got to see Brother Bill and Hillary, Jill, Joe today on C-span ( thanks to Laurel). Bill is always Bill but we must remember what Debt America had in 1992. I often just the same phase " Are you better off today then you were 8 years ago". With the fallen Stock Market, lost homes, jobs and life saving I think not. What is scary is if Bush had gotten his greedy little hands on the Social Security money we would have done today. That man is scary and snicky.

Jackie, so lucky to have such a special doctor. Then again, you are a special lady so that goes without saying.

Although we are going through turmoil in the economy and an election and a war, always remember the good things you have in life like friends, neighbors, church and temple friends, husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, smart children, wonderful grandchildren and all things that are good and pure! Make sure you are getting a hug every day from someone and give a hug too! Hugs are free!

We can make it if we surround ourselves with good people and value relationships and people more than greed and money. Hang out with people like Lisa on our blog who never has a bad word for anyone! We all need some angels in our life.

Stay away from toxic people! There are tons of them on TV too so monitor who you watch and don't let all this gloom and doom into your house. Think positive everyone and we will all get through this difficult time for everyone. I am positive of that for sure!

Reach out to help your neighbor if you can. Nothing killed me more the other day than to read about a Dad who committed suicide in CA because he lost his job. He killed his entire family and his MIL. Please reach out and help your neighbor if you are able just to see how people are doing!

This evening I watched part of an event with Sens.
Obama, McCain &all the usual suspects and they were
really having fun together, relaxed and happy. I
would like to see this kind of change with them
in the future. On Nov. 4 I will vote and that's it.
