Paul Newman had many passions: acting, car racing, and helping others. Whether you watched his films, or used his food products – which earned millions of dollars for charity – you shared in those passions.

Being on the tail end of the boomer generation I really would hate to see this worthless bunch (leftist mostly) miss their share of the pain. People need to be mad enough to pay attention to how this happened and jail the FannieCrats who caused it. At the very least vote them out of office for a "change". That means that as much as I enjoyed his movies and he was probably a guy you could go to a ballgame with and have a great time, when it came to politics we'd probably have to put the boxing gloves on. I visited 12 states and yes everyone I met is suffering in some way. I now know it was no mistake Obama won Iowa. My bank folded why I was away. While in Colorado in Denver, Vail, Firestone and Longmont it's Obama. Surprisingly even many in Colorado Springs are for Obama. Word was Obama could have fulled all four sport fields with on problem.
I saw Katie Courics interview with Sarah Palen and I was shocked at just how little she knows about everything. The RNC did their best to make Sarah look like good as even the Paraguay President refused to speak to Sarah as others did too. But she looked good as Miss Congeniality at the UN but nothing else.
I read the article by former Gov. Spitzer as he outlined the fraud on Wall Street. Smart move on the White House to get him out of office to back Americans didn't pay attention we might have caught this fall out earlier. Paulson is so funny he knew about this when he took office. He was a CEO and got shares and started his own company. Now with Henry ready to get 700 billion dollars I'm sure Henry will get his cut first. At least the bank that Daddy Bush is a board member will get their share of the free taxpayer money. What's so funny is how the GOP are playing the game of protecting the American people while knowing they cause it and the robbers are their friends. This smoke screen will be used later. I hope the Media and Americans remember 1992 to 2000 with Bill Clinton and his surplus. The Republicans really did control the Govenment by stealing taxpayers blind and laughting now while they get the rest of what ever they can steal. We allowed this President to do this over 8 years even knowing that former Tresure Security Paul O'Neill said with the Bush/Cheney policy this would happen.

I see more of the fall out coming. Will John McCain close down his campaign again? Russia's President gets a good laugh with Sarah Palin's forign policy experience or that she lives next door to Russia. I met a US Attorney so I now know Law.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Paul Newman but what he left us will last forever. My prayers go out to his family.

To my friends on this blog Lisa, Laural, Stephanie, Claudia, Celine, Anna and Matt. I talked about you guys to everyone I met during my trip. Yes I told everyone to watch Brian on the news and how great you guys are. Thank you for being my friend. It's good to be back. I had to check with every State I was in what time Brian came on and even what time it was where I was at. I met so many great Americans and yes I told them I belong to the Sisterhood of the traveling pants suits. You know me I can never let go of a friend.

Have a great weekend I'm getting some rest now.

Paul Newman, 1925-2008

I am so sad to hear of Paul Newman's passing. His blue eyes always enchanted me.

Missed the broadcast thanks to football, but now Hurricane Kyle is bearing down on Maine. I am not in the way of the current hurricane watches... we're just expecting lots and lots of rain and tropical winds. We've already had 4 inches in my area. If you don't hear from me in the next couple of days... you'll know we lost power!

Paul Newman, 1925-2008

If the bailout is approved we need to vote out every member who did this.

Paul Newman, 1925-2008

Paul Newman was a class act and cool guy. He will be missed by all - especially his fans in Hawaii. We are all spiritual beings having a physical experience. Mr. Newman has moved on to the next level. His spirit lives on! First of all it is so very sad the passing of Paul Newman who really was a legend in film and stage also doing much philanthropy work through his charities. Seeing the tributes made to him about his life of film, race car driving, philanthropy and family it was very moving. The tribute by Mr.Williams was excellent and touching because of the many things Mr.Newman was involved. I remember some of Paul Newman's film and they were all great. He will be greatly missed. He was certainly a legend.
I liked what Mr.Brokaw said about him on the Today Show this morning when he said he was at ease with himself and never acted like a "prima donna" which is always an appealing trait. He was an American Icon. The camp "The Hole in the Wall Gang" (I believe) and the food products with all the proceeds being donated to charity are wonderful things.
On another note learning that Congress would be reaching a deal for this financial crisis does sound alittle promising. Time will tell.
Thank You for the broadcast and your tribute to Paul Newman. He will be greatly missed. Peace to You and to All!

Lots of Love to Laurel,Jackie,Stephanie,Claudia,Celine,Anna and Matt!
Be Well Always!
Stephanie-Stay Safe and Well! The Dow is down almost 800 points. My question concerns the inherent powers of the President and Ferderal Reserve under these circumstances. The Fed has the power to print money and the President could undoubtedly order the Fed to print more money to buy the bad debts of the financial institutions affected by this liquidity crisis. So what do we need Congress for? Why doesn't the Fed orchestrate the bailout directly by printing more money and using that to purchase the bad assets?

Paul Newman, 1925-2008

He will always be my Hero.

Paul Newman, 1925-2008

One would think you would be among the anchors in
the presidential debates. I don't understand how some got it over you. Surely, you will be a moderator
in the next one. I hope so, Mr. Holt.

Phyllis Kunz

Paul Newman, 1925-2008

Yeah right, so what do we need Congress for?
Radical, maybe, but it might be a good idea to
dissolve Congress.
