Good Evening Mr.Holt, It is great to read that you are now back in New York and getting into your daily routine again. Welcome Back Mr.Holt! So many storms out in the Atlantic stirring up the waters. As you mentioned in the posting I do hope you don't have to use the rain gear, flashlights and energy bars to cover any storms. You certainly braved alot of wind and rain while being in New Orleans recently.
Due to football coverage in my area I will not see your broadcast on television. But I will view the reports on the web on the Nightly News website. Keeping informed! Looking forward to the broadcast Mr.Holt. I will view on the web! Peace to you and to all!

We appreciate your dedication to your field. Stay safe out there.
In regards to the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac possible rescue by the feds- I would hope that the federal government puts adequate restrictions in place as to not add to the taxpayers' burden over these failing financial institutions any further. Hopefully the housing market has nearly reached bottom and a recovery can begin soon.

You do a good job. We love You! Now for politics. What on earth is wrong with America. Look at the economy, everything is in state of disarray. The republican party has done the country and the world at large the most dishonorable crime. Now they have brought this "Pit Bull and her fisherman husband" to speak for the people. History and economics tell us that when the Democrats are in the white house the country fares better as opposed to the republicans. I am sure Carl Rove is behind this mess with his unethical idealogy. If they put McCain/Palin in, then this country is finished. But it wont happen for God is watching; there are still some good people to vote the opposite; these people want to see their children and grandchildren grow up civily, and prosperous. What a barracuda?
And most of all, look at the gray headed man. What innovation, and creativity can he come up with for the country.
Barrack and Michelle Obama are Harvard powerhouses; they have all the answers for growth; not to mention Joseph Biden. What an excellent leadership team the country would have. But then, the Republican Party is not flexible to encourage growth; proving that this country is not a real democracy, it is very autocratic and we as middle call get poorer.

God help US!

Your piece on Sarah Palin's husband was like a Republican Party Press Release. You totally ignored the most controversial issue about him, his membership in the Alaskan Independence Party! ( and his wife, the candidate's support).This party's leader/founder has damned the American Flag and the government. It is Rev. Jeremiah all over again except this time it's the Republicans and a white man. Please stand up to your responsibility to inform the public of all aspects of these candidates so that we can make an informed decision
