NEW YORK - May 26, 2009 – On Tuesday and Wednesday, June 2 & 3, 9-10 PM ET, NBC News Anchor and Managing Editor Brian Williams will take viewers "Inside the Obama White House," for an exclusive, wide-ranging look at what happens throughout the White House and the West Wing during a day in the life of the Obama administration. There will be more than a dozen crews and cameras strategically placed throughout the White House, capturing nearly ever aspect of the day. This unique documentation will consist of behind-the-scenes footage, as well as interviews with key administration players and those who make the West Wing work.

For more than forty years, NBC News has made it a tradition to offer viewers a unique vantage point into a new president's White House with a day-in-the-life program. This seventh installment will be taped on Friday, May 29. On Tuesday, the eve of President Obama's trip to the Middle East and Europe, Williams will tape a one-on-one interview with the President that will air as part of the broadcast. "Inside the Obama White House" will be shot and broadcast in high definition

"This is one of the greatest traditions in all of broadcast television," said Williams. "We will show aspects of life in the White House -- the Obama White House -- that no one on the outside has ever seen before."

"It is an honor for our news division each and every time we produce a broadcast of this caliber," said Steve Capus, President, NBC News. "These richly detailed portrayals of the West Wing at work are only possible because seven presidents have placed their faith in the men and women of NBC News to document these important moments in time."

Information about the special, video blogs, extended interviews, and Web exclusive videos will be available on http://WhiteHouse.msnbc.com . Msnbc.com will also have special slideshows and an interactive of the White House that allows users to take a closer look at the complex and explore some of the historic rooms.

This is NOT The Obama White House!!!  Can't you liberals see what is happening?  Before Obama is finished with his radical Hitler-like term, there will be no freedom of speech or anything else that we have been accustomed to.  Even you news people will greatly suffer-perhaps we'll have national news controlled by Obama and his thugs. Only what he and his followers permit us to see or hear will be presented.  God help us!  Yes, I said the GOD word.
Laura and Barbara Bush took tours of the White House for cameras many times. What's the big deal??
obama should spoend more time trying to alleviate all the nations problems instead promoting his personal life on a tv show which is not acheiving any thing other than an entertainment program. if i want entetaainment i will watch the comedy channel. this viewer will not watch this show.
Shut up, seriously you people are crazy
Robert Hayes needs to learn how to SPELL!!!
But obviously he sounds dummer than dirt! He needs to stick to the "Comedy" channel because he a Mega-Joke himself.
Last but not least "Bev" in Texas is describing Cheny/Bush. NOT Obama. They started a "Holy War' Obama has more sence. He uses dialogy with other countries. He is creating solidarity to get the countries ie:Russia and China to help using dialoge. He is not stupid or dumb. He is avoiding a third war and will succeed to end the "Bush" wars. A third war would break us. We have far too much suicide at Fort Campbells Army because of the Bush famly policies.
God Bless America and President Obama!!Nancy Bush
Some of you sick "human beings" are going to give yourselves a heart attack before this man leaves office.  God,(yes I said the God word), "GET OVER IT". He is the 44th President!!!
God!!(yes I said the God word, too); Get Over it!  He is the 44th President of the United States. As long as I can remember the news has done a "Day at the WH"; I will admit that with this President it is a day at the WH everyday.  But that is the point, this is a first; a historical campaign, election, presidential term; it will go down in hx and I think everyone wants a piece of this hx.  I also understand that it is hard for those Americans who just cannot accept this "first" as their President. Sorry. Just close your eyes and minds and try to pretend not to be Americans until it is all over; in about eight years; Good Luck!!
The president has mention before, the White house is the people house; and he wish to work for the people and offer the American people to visit the white house web page to view issues the president is working towards for the american people. The issues we all are facing is not just the president problem, as one nation we must all work to help the president meet goals. This even included congress and legislatives must work for the good of American people. It's not about Politics and greed, as it has been in the past decades in Washington.

Americans have always been interested in what the White House is like no matter who the President is and Brian Williams will likely do a great job with the event. I have a life to live so I watch little TV, but I make it a point to watch the news presented by Brian Willians.
Come on, guys. Get a life. Why don't you criticize the things worth criticizing, not an NBC tour of the White House. Are you that pent-up and frustrated inside?
Stan from California
Barack was elected our 44th President on 11/4/08, overwhelmingly I will add .  Why are some people so venemous and hateful.  You claim to be so american and these are your thoughts of the POTUS?  Shameful!!!  Get a Life, you lost!
Just saw the show of June 2nd.  We loved it!  We felt like we were guests of the White House, watching everyone work without getting in their way.  What gracious people the Obamas are to let us share a piece of their their daily life this way. And Brian is just the right person to walk us through. Loved it and will be watching tomorrow.
Beverly from TX, I feel bad for you.  You are missing out on the greatest presidency this country will ever see.  I am so proud to be alive during the Obama presidency.  For you to rattle off such a horrible, un-god like statement, and where the hell do you get your info , is well, sinful.  So, I pray that God forgives you.
This man is the President for this time.  If not now when? President Obama inherited a super nova of a mess and is dealing with it in fine fashion. As a former Marine this is the temperament and logical thinking that we all need in a time of crisis.
This is the 21st Century! Obama is history and he is the President for the 21st Century.  Unlike his predecessor, he is intelligent and modern and knows what Americans want to see and hear.  Not only does he relate with the public, he deals with the issues.  How dare anyone says he doesn't with the hand he's been dealt by the previous administration.

I am always fascinated by the everyday goings-on of our executive branch...and Brian Williams is the best on the air. It is fascinating to watch (I could have done without the burger run, however).
It's not about liberals/conservatives;it's our gov't at work, and about how these are regular humans, not Supermen/women in there, doing their best to run the Executive Branch of our gov't.
God knew best and he gave this inteligent man the ability to serve his country as our 44th president. many of you may not admit it, but you are appaled that he was able to make it all the way. yes many of us true Americans support this White House and would love to see how it works.
Watched NBC News Presents, ' Inside the White House ' and I enjoyed it,can't wait till tomorrow for the next part. Plan on watching every bit of that too. I voted for the President and don't regret it at all. Considering the mess left for him to deal with I think he is doing a good job.
Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou! It was such a treat to be able to experience a day in the White House with Our Great President Obama. I can't begin to tell you how greatful we are that you have given us the opportunity to see Our President hard at work, close up and personal. Thank you! Please continue to do so! We will continue to tune in and support your effort in bringing us the strength and intelligence that leads this wonderful country of ours. God Bless America!!! Respecfully, Maria M. Otta....
I think it's great to be able to view a day in the life of our President.  Tell me you wouldn't be honored to share is this experience.
This is the 21st Century! President Obama is a fine, intelligent human being and is a pleasure to watch him...even when he gives a tour of the WH.  Finally, after eight years, we can enjoy a great communicator!
It's too bad that some people can't get over the color of his skin.
Thank you to Brian Williams and his crew at msnbc for the dignified and respectful way they presented the President and the White House crew who work so hard to keep this President on line with the many problems he faces. It is so nice to see the "human" side of his day and his human nature. an 82 yr old admirer of both these gentlemen
great show. i loved it. very interesting and educational. happy to see these people are simply hardworking human beings who dont just talk, but do.I Love this country and will respect whomever the people put in their whitehouse.dems or rep.
I can't believe that anybody wouldn't want to see the "Day and the life of our President", especially at "Our House".
The American Public better hope and pray that this president succeeds, because if he dosen't you might as well kiss your butt goodbye!!!
This isn't about Replublican vs Democrat, it's about "America".
By the way, I voted for President Obama and I think he is doing a great "Job".
I'm proud to be a "60 year old white male, who thinks Obma will be one of the best presidents ever!!!!!
This President has inherited a war on two fronts, a economy in shambles, a banking meltdown, a stock market recession, the demise of the auto industry and a swine flu epidemic.  Your seeing a man in command and not afraid of public scrutiny.  Politics aside,we are seeing a very special President.  One we can all be proud of.  We are all Americans.  We need this administration to succeed.
You can solve the nation's problem without killing yourself. After all, the guy did not create the problems, he only inherited them. By the way, our nation's problems look like God (yes, I said the G word also) is taking care of them a little at a time, thanks for the smart guy at the helm. Enjoy today, my fellow citizens. Pent up, up tight, angry, WHY? It is the will of God.
Chill out you guys, our country has been messed up
far too many decades. Why? because we left our Lord
and Savior out of it but he is still on  his throne and he is still running things. Remember the fall of the Roman Empire,& other Lost civilizations
and we will probably be next. God Have Mercy on us
all before it's too late. Give your life to Jesus
Christ and ask for his forgiveness now and start
praying. Love,& God Bless.
Stop hating...u haters know who you are....it's ok if you don't want to watch the show. It's ok if you don't like Obama.

For the rest of us...spread the love and support for our 44th President.
A big thank you to Brian Williams and his staff of reporters, camera men, etc.  What a wonderful job they did.  Watched every minute of the two night show and just wished it could have gone on longer.  What a great family we have in our White House - someone to be proud of.  Thank you NBC.
I thank God that we have a leader who is not afraid to share the truth with the American people about things that happen on a daily basis in the White House. It is unfortunate to say that this has not been the case in the past with all of the previous President's  Stay true Mr. President we need your leadership and guidance to repair this country.
Beverly Millington from Nixon TX is a a Nut job as evidenced by her radical rightwing butt backward comments. President Obama was elected with a landslide vote. Did it ever occur to you that the majority of Americans both Democrat and Republican wanted a big change? Well we got it and I for one say give the guy a chance. Let's hold off and Judge him in 4 years. He can't undo 8 years of poor performance in 9 months. But Beverly, I do believe in GOD and our new President.
I agree, great job by NBC and Brian W.  I think the president is genuine, he and Michelle are doing an amazing job.  I feel more a part of American gov't than ever in my life.  It no longer feels like us (the American people) and them (the first family).
A wonderful piece. I enjoyed it.
president obama is very smart. and he will take care of use.the american peoples.please give him a chance.he is for us .i mean everybody.you have a very nice frist lady. in the white house. be thankful .give then a chance.
