NBC is doing something fantastic for all of us out here.  This is a chance to see the workings of the White House and West Wing that we will never see.  I know that this is taking so much hard work by Brian Williams and all of the staff at NBC and I just hope you all realize how thankful all of us out here are for the work you are putting into this for us and how much it is appreciated.

Can't wait for June 2 and 3 to roll around.

Thank You.
Hi, everyone!

I have been following all day by receiving sms messages to my phone while I was out, and am now catching up on all the linked photos and videos. This has been so much fun! I hope you all are having a great time while working on this fantastic tradition. The inside look from the Twitter updates alone is exciting, I can't wait to see the actual recording to be aired next week!

I hope you all enjoy your burgers! :)

I talked briefly to Dwaine Scott of NBC News Crew last night about this exciting event, and asked him to tell Brian Williams I said "Hello" (then saying, "oh and Obama!") just as a joke. And he said he'd tell him, I don't expect him to remember...but if he did I so appreciate it!

Brian, you're such a busy guy...I don't see how you do it. But you do, and make it look effortless! Thank you for all of your wonderful, hard work!

Take care, and thanks to everyone at NBC News!

Thank you, fascinating.  Can't wait to see the final footage. Is it possible to tape the third floor of the White House? So many rooms that are part of history, referred by former Presidents yet never seen; would offer big reveal and new scenes for viewers.  Also the pool and bball court too! Have a great day!
Hi Sam Sangal,

NBC has always done a great job of covering the news. My grandfather was a big fan and would be proud to see that NBC is still a class act.

I'll be following on twitter. It's an honor to have a white House that's so accessible to the media and
"we the people". It's never been this way before, as far as I know. There's no illicit, clandestine behavior going on behind closed doors. That's happened with a republican and democratic White House.
The word "transparency" seems so strange due to the fact we haven't had any until now.

But thanks, Sam and Ian, and the others who help make this blog possible.

I almost forgot. Isn't there an anniverasry coming up,
as in Brian beginning the blog on May 31,2009?
That means we as commenters are celebrating with you. Let us know if that's the case.

Vicki
To Whom It May Concern,

I wanted to bring to your attention there is a very positive Expo upcoming in June of this year.

NDRExpo will be the first event to represent the entire Disaster Reconstruction Industry chain from planning and preparation to response, recovery, reconstruction and rebuilding on the local community, state, and federal levels.
NDRExpo will be the first event to primarily focus on community reconstruction and rebuilding from multiple response levels; from disaster planning management, loss mitigation and business continuity to emergency response, restoration and rebuilding, and community redevelopment… all under 1 roof.
NDRExpo will be the first event to bring together buyers and sellers on multiple levels of disaster planning, response and rebuilding… all levels of buyers and sellers throughout the planning and response chain represented in 1 event!
Contractors can shop for products and services addressing multiple needs while having a forum to develop business relationships and network across multiple sectors, both public and private.
Suppliers can present products / services to multiple levels of decision makers in addition to independent contractors, including facility engineers, community planning engineers, facility management, government officials, construction firms, emergency management personnel, insurance adjusters, and more…. 1 forum to reach maximum quantity and quality of buyers.
Government Assistance Programs for catastrophic event recovery have a forum to introduce products and services to a multi-level platform of potential participants, buyers, and influencers.
Multiple interests and wide industry support provide an educational opportunity intersecting all sectors of disaster response and community rebuilding; from code development and claims procedural changes to contractor certification, industry specification fluctuations and government requisitions. Expected broad industry support presents market recognition and participation from numerous aspects of disaster restoration, remediation and community reconstruction, offering more options and choices for attendees to experience at the event.
Involvement of major media group presents unprecedented marketing of the event in the industries served, directly to the buyers through numerous print and electronic media channels.

One of the additional things that makes this an interesting story......BNP Media is a fourth generation family held company that publishes about 70 business to business magazines that cross the spectrum of industries found across the country.

A walk in the White House and this time the real West Wing. I can see myself sitting in the Oval Office with my secretary President Obama by my side signing Law. I love to dream. Now for real I could never be President with all these problems. We picked the right person for the job. I look forward to the Nightly News tour. Now I'll be on my flight June 3rd so I'll watch that show on the laptop.

Hi "InsideObamaWH",

This as great, reading your tweets. Why don't you guys do this on this blog, as in Brain and/or Lester had a tuna sandwich for lunch, etc.? Seriously. Speaking of food, ask the Prez to eat a burger for us. And pleeease ask him to say hello on this blog while the NBC crew is with him!!
Tell Chuckie we said hello.

Keep up the good work. What are ya'll having for dinner?

Vicki

P.S. tell the Obama girls and Michelle that we,the regular commenters, said hello.
Twittering may be trendy...but how dumb!  I feel sorry for anyone who has nothing better to do than to be reading the twitters from tthe crew at the White House, and I feel sorry also for your staff to have to do the twittering just so NBC can be trendy.  No, I did not read them.
what happen to the saving the planet? I hope Al Gore was watching when in the day time white house has their outside lights on every where. turn the lights off, it is day time.
Correction:

I meant to write that Brian's been blogging since May 31, 2005(?)

Vicki
'InsideObamaWH',

Are you serious about what Rahm said to Chuck? He'd better lay off Chuck, he's our bud. I really think Rahm is suffering from a Napolean complex. How tall or short is he anyway?

Brian, hey, what are you doing, isn't that the proverbial twitter question? Brian, give us a shout out from there. Just one. Type in "hey everybody from the WH." Please?

Vicki

To fellow commenters or NBC twitter staff:

I'd like to be able to follow the NBC crew on twitter, But when I try, I get a screen that reads the web page has expired.(or something to that effect)
My computer is slow but was able to follow a couple of weeks ago.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Vicki
