Maybe it's all the talk of a new puppy coming to the White House...maybe it's the grim economy and our desire to escape our troubles and cares for a brief time...but whatever it is, there's an internet link making the rounds on the web, and we'd be remiss if we didn't share it with you:

Being a shiba-owned human, I have been watching this puppy cam for about a week and everytime I see it, I feel the endorphins which help relieve daily stress!!

I don't know how to get ahold of the President elect but we breed quality Bloodhound pups for home companions, SAR and law enforcement.  We would be proud to donate a puppy to the new first family.  Please advise as to how to get in touch with them.  Shelley/Better Hands Hill Bloodhounds

Hi,

I have had the cam on for about 15min, I hope to see what Brian was refering to on the Nightly News.  The puppy appears to be in a deep sleep.

Due to the President-elect's family moving into the White House with a new puppy
I predicted to my family that news programs would begin to focus on dogs and other furry house pets.

I believe this is a good thing.  There are too many animals that are neglected.  With the interest in the new White House puppy, people may take notice and adopt and/or spay/neuter their furry friends.

awwwww, I think we all needed something like that! I lost one dog last year after extended illness and have only one dog left, blind, heart condition but still happy and cantankerous...:) After that no more. My daughter who us half the age of my dogs has severe allergies.... :(. I still love dogs :)
