I have seen a few posts on this blog about not finding the transcript or video of the Gen Bill Ginn and Obama Flag and National Anthem comments.  Wanting to prove that it is a Hoax and that a National Figure would not be so anti-American, I came to your site to see if it is true.  If it is not true I can see there being no transcripts available, but with all the inquiries you would think of posting a reponse saying that this information is a Hoax or if it is not posting the transcript.  Isn't Freedom of the Press the right for you to report the News as it is not filter and censor it?  I eagerly await a response!

Have done a little more research on the Obama/Anthem/Flag issue.  According to Snopes.com this is false event.  It appears that a columnist in Arizon wrote some satire based on the photograph of Obama standing but not placing his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance (of it own this is not good).  Some took the satire as true and ran with it on the internet.  It would have been nice to see a link to this or a response from Meet the Press or MSNBC on their site.  Especially for a Candidate they so thouroughly endorse.

I as many have tried to find the piece on General Bill Ginn when he asked the question about the American Flag could you please tell me why I can not find the transcript of the article. Question is this true or false?

I recieved and email today that stated all of the information that Tracey Higley Salt Lake City, Utah posted (The interview with General Bill Ginn where Obama states that he and his wife had burned flags). Not wanting to pass around anything that was not true, I tried (for an hour) to find the segment on Meet the Press that would confirm the information (I did not doubt that it was true). I am very dissapointed that the interview is not available to be seen. All information should be avaliable even if it would huurt the canidate that the network seems to be supporting. If any one knows who to contact to get the interview re-posted would you please let everyone know

I visited the site to validate the Ginn/Obama question and response as well.  I am appauled it is not available.  One of the reasons the media in general is loosing credibility. The thought of someone being elected as President of the United States of America being a so disrespectful...if indeed these statements are accurate, this is a deal changer.  

I do not understand why you are not posting the comments made by Obama on the Sept. 7 interview with General Bill Ginn. Why would you want to "pick and choose" what the public should know? This infers that you are biased and want to hide something. Something that you don't want the public to know? Don't Americans have the right to know EXACTLY what Obama said?  Doesn't it give us insight to what he is really like? Since he is running for the highest office in our county, it would be nice to know what we can really expect.

There isn't a transcript because this was never aired on Meet the Press.  This writing was taken from part of a satirical bit at the end of a "Semi-News" column by John Semmens (The Arizona Conservative website) back in October of 2007.   The satire came off as too believable causing Obama's campaign to provide evidence to negate.  The email has resurfaced again this time using a September 7 2008 segement of "Meet the Press" w/ Gen. Bill Ginn, USAF (ret) and Sen. Obama.  You'll note they were not guests for that date. By no means do I support Obama but I do support making my decisions about a canidate based on the facts and sometimes that takes some research.

why  haven't you posted  the interview with General Bill Ginn--  and Obama---there's an e-mail going  around  and  i for one would like to know if it's  true or not--you have a responsibility to this country  to let the people know the truth what kind of   man  Obama really is. Well I went and Googled: Gen Bill Ginn+Obama and snopes indicates the statement is FALSE, as it was last updated 10 Oct 08.  I don't believe it, there those out there that don't want the truth to be known. If people think they have it bad now just wait til Mr. Obama moves in.  Hasn't anybody been paying attention out there.  So much is being removed: this interview, ACORN laptops mysteriously disappearing, what's next? You need to produce the transcripts on the comments made by Borack Hussein Obama.  I understand that the media and yourself, love him but we want the truth and deserve it before voting day.  Why don't you try to use common sense when addressing us instead of your own political views.  America needs to get back to their roots of God and country.  God being the most important.  This is how our country was founded.  It has taken our lawyers and media to tear this down.  I hope God has mercy on your soul.

Brian, I have always watched NBC until a while back when NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, all started giving biased news reports. Any thing bad they can dig up about McCain/Palin and nothing about the Messiah Obama.The media is in the tank for Obama/Biden, it is so obvious it's sickening. If you want fair and balanced news coverage you need to watch Fox, they tell both sides and give equal time. That's why they are first in the ratings. Doesn't that tell you liberals something? By the way, I'm independent and have voted Dem and Repub. and I usually vote a split ticket. Fair and balanced. I used to think you were a nice guy, but not any more. I, like many of you, received the e-mail that refered to Mr. Obama being on Meet The Press Sept. 7, 2008, and making specific statements about the flag, etc., etc.  I can't find anything on it -- AND PERHAPS THE REASON IS BECAUSE IT ISN'T TRUE!!!  You are all accusing this site of excluding the comments -- but maybe these comments were never said by Obama...just a thought.

Are you going to report on the attack upon the Freedom of the Press that has been made by the Obama Campaign in their slapping down and denying any future interviews for Florida's WFTV, because the anchor asked Joe Biden some tough questions?  If not why not?  Is NBC and the main stream media going to condemn such actions by the Obama Camp? What happened to the archived file of the 07 Sept. 2008 Meet the Press program where Barry Obama denounces the flag and our national anthem?

I received an e-mail about the refusal of Barack Obama to salute the flag.  I went to the MTP website, and only found references to the Joe Biden interview.  So I told my friend to "Check his sources".  When I checked further, apparently many people are also wondering where the complete transcipt is.
    Nearly two weeks have passed since the original requests to make Obama's actual comments from Sept. 7 available, and they are still not there.  Apparently, several people heard it and saw it, but in the interest of the left-leaning political agenda, NBC made it disappear.  Amazing!

Journalism and the media today have lost their integrity ... and therefore, their credibility. It is OBVIOUS that the mainstream media is trying elect a particular candidate. That isn't the news media's job! So much has been "omitted" in the media about Obama. The call with Gen. Bill Ginn and Obama regarding Obama's seeming lack of respect for the American flag and Pledge of Allegiance is now "mysteriously" missing, too?  That in itself is extremely suspicious but par for the course! Shame on you and shame on all the media. What's it like to have sold your soul?

The Question I have is how in God's Holy name did this man ever become an elected politician If the Meet The Press interveiw is true? Why are we letting this happen?

I smell a huge, smelly rat.  This is so simple, if the story is untrue then you could easily stop it by posting the transcript of the program.  Forget about snopes and everyone else who refutes it, why can't we get information from the source, you?  Your silence speaks volumes, it says to me that the story is indeed true.
