Abortion fight plays out on one street

Posted: Friday, August 31, 2007 4:46 PM by Daily Nightly Editor

by Mark Potter, NBC correspondent

In Jackson, Mississippi, recently we saw the latest trend in the national abortion fight playing itself out on one street corner. We'll show it to you tonight on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.

Outside the Jackson Women's Health Organization, the only abortion clinic still operating in Mississippi, dozens of young women coming in for abortions or doctor consultations were greeted by anti-abortion activists trying to convince them not to have the procedure.

Clinic officials say it's a daily ritual here that, while sometimes loud, is typically non-violent. For those of us who remember the many violent confrontations and even murders at abortion clinics in years past it's a dramatic change. It's also an indication a more effective method has been found by abortion opponents.

The latest tactic in anti-abortion activism involves legislation, and there standing with the protesters was Mississippi state senator Richard White, who has been promoting laws to severely restrict abortion providers. His ultimate goal is to end abortion altogether, and to
overturn its Roe V. Wade Supreme Court protections. The Mississippi legislature and many others around the country are the new battlegrounds.

Inside the Jackson clinic, the physician on duty, Dr. Joseph Booker, said "They're ultimately trying to close the clinic down, and they're trying to do it by putting more and more restrictions."

One of the women waiting in the lobby said a state law requiring patients to first come in for a consultation, then wait a day before actually having an abortion was very difficult and expensive for her. She had driven here from another county.

With the recent Supreme Court decision upholding a ban on late-term abortions, the anti-abortion protesters are feeling stronger now, and promise even more legislation next year around the country. Abortion rights supporters are quite concerned about this new twist in the long-time fight. It was all there on that Mississippi street corner.

Abortions are going to happen regardless of whether Roe v. Wade is overtuned or not. It's just that this time, the abortions are being performed at clinics. Would Americans rather have abortions being performed in back alleys with clotheshangers, or perhaps a boyfriend stomping on his girlfriend's stomach to induce contractions?

disgusted viewer:

1.  There are laws to ban murder, rape, theft, etc. and yet they still occur.  However, no one seems to be advocating that we decriminalize those particular activities.  So why not add abortion/child murder to the list of criminal activities.  Yes, abortions will still occur, but there certainly won’t be a million abortions a year, which is what we have today.

2.  Where does this clothes hanger thing come from?  I can’t believe that a woman who is too terrified to tell people that she is pregnant, would suddenly be willing to admit that she used a clothes hanger to perform the abortion.  Furthermore, if abortions were illegal back in the pre-wade days, why would anyone even admit to an abortion?  And which government agencies were responsible for collecting the data on illegal abortions?  Did they just randomly call people up and question them?

3.  So YES, I would rather have abortions being performed in back alleys with clothes hangers or perhaps a boyfriend stomping on his girlfriends stomach to induce contractions.  I want to make it as difficult as possible for some to perform such a despicable and horrendous act such as abortion.  Having said that, I would prefer that there be no abortions at all.  I would hope and pray that everyone involved in a pregnancy (the childs mother and father, friends and family) would see the value of that unborn human being.

Always a Pleasure,

Mike Danger
Oh, come on. Women are hated in this country. We are insignificant to what we can carry. We are either pre-pregnant, pregnant, or dead. The potential is so much more important than the actual apparently. What we need is eduction of our girls and prevention of pregnancies in the first place. Will that happen? Unlikely. You cannot legislate morality, although a vocal minority is gonna try. What a woman does with her own body is between her, her doctor, and her God.
I can understand that the protesters care to protest against abortion.  But are they going to be that passionate in assisting the women who are going to give birth to those babies that they are "rescuing"?  Are they going to provide daycare so that the new mothers can go and support their children?
Abortions should have never been made legal in the first place.  That child is no accident, God says "I knew you before you were ever formed in your mothers womb and I ordained you with a plan and a purpose."  No one wants to take responsibility for their actions anymore, and children are a blessing not a curse.  People need to step up to the plate and take responsibility for your actions and do the right thing and quit taking the easy out when the don't like the consequences that occur from their actions.
I must agree with disgusted viewer. There would be many more deaths and crowded jails if abortion was illegal. I wouldn't want my daughter to have to go to a back ally if she choose abortion for herself.
On the other hand, I believe there needs to be some sort of child advocate at these clinics. When I was 17, I was held down at an abortion clinic in Memphis TN by the nurses, on the Doctors orders, after being taken there by my grandmother against my will. And even after that, I still believe it should be legal. Just think what might have happened if I had been in an alley.
Mr. Potter let his pen slip, along with his bias, when he inadvertantly described the pro-lifer's work as "ATTACKS."

Women's rights supporters predict anti-abortion activists will now step up their attacks and could introduce a flood of anti-abortion bills around the country next year.

There are tens of thousands of unwanted babys born each year. It seems to me that these loony toons would serve more purpose by helping the children already here rather than crying about a few cells being scraped off of a womans uterus. If they actually believe in God they should practice the dictate of "Judge not lest you be judged." and let God handle it. Unless of course they think that He needs their help to see to it that His will be done, which (if that were the case)would make Him pretty weak and pathetic to have to rely on such imbeciles.
Dear disgusted viewier,

You obviously believe all the propaganda hype distributed by the pro-abortion folks for decades. Americans would rather not have abortions performed at all---legally or illegally. In a nation so dedicated to life, why do we condone legal murder? Animals have more rights than the unborn. An endangered snail can be protected; a baby growing in its mother's womb can be killed. Does that make any sense to you?
I live in Jackson, MS.  I drive by this clinic to and from work daily.  The man who is there and spurs this on daily is able to do so because he does not have to work because his wife made a fortune performing abortions in MS.  How ironic.  Ask them about the signs they carry that say "Let Me Help You Love Your Baby"?  Not a single one is willing to place money in your pocket monthly to help you.  But they will hand you a booklet.  I guess clothes hangers and neglected unwanted kids is a much better choice.
Absolutely unacceptable.  The people protesting the clinic, including the MS Senator, have no knowledge as to the woman's situation, her history, her decision-making, her life whatsoever, and yet they make what is already the hardest decision she's ever made pointlessly more painful in the ambiguous name of defending "Life".
If the last bastion of a safe, affordable abortion option is callously removed in any of our 50 states, the outcry will be enormous.  I think these protesters think the nation will just let Roe v Wade be overturned without too much protest.  They will be sorely mistaken.  The fight has just begun.
In my home growing up,such hot topic buttons as abortion and gay marriage weren't exactly spoken openly about at the dinner table. However, my parents raised my siblings and I to be open minded, independent thinking individuals who respected others opinions and rights to be who they were. Now as an adult, from years of learing about the world around me,and forming my own opinions and beliefs on what I have learned; abortion is something that I would only consider for myself in the most dire of circumstances.
Most of these women are probably thinking that they have no other options other than this, which is why they go through with having one. This is not the easiest decision that these women will ever make in their lives, and it is something that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives. You do not know what is going through someones head until you walk a mile in their shoes.
Alot of people believe that life begins at conception, abortion is murder of an innocent child and that children are a gift.I too believe that life begins at conception, and that children are a gift, but abortion,in my opinion, is not murder. However the woman came to be pregnant,be it through rape or consensual sex, she should have the right to end the pregnancy, if she chooses to do so. We do not need to see any more babies being murdered or abandoned in trash cans. Women need options such as abortions and Safe Haven Laws to prevent these things from happening.
I can only say that having been through a natural miscarraige myself, I have only an inkling of an idea of what these women feel when they go through such a traumatic experience. It is not an easy experience, it breaks your heart and tears away a piece of your soul.
People are entitled to their opinions as I am mine. Abortion should be legalized in the United States as it is here in Canada. Women should have the option of seeking an abortion if they need one, with out having to deal with being scrutinized for an already very difficult decision.
I know many will not agree with me, and some will. That is their right. But again, you  don't know what someones thinking until you walk a mile in their shoes. I know one day if my daughter comes to me and says that she is pregnant, I want her to have options.
Murders are going to happen  regardless of weather the law is overturned or not. Get the point????
I have lived in Jackson, MS for the past three years.  Jackson is in HINDS county, BTW... not Hines county.

How can the legislature force doctors to lie to their patients about links between abortion and infertility and/or cancer?  That is outrageous!!

I am pro-choice (which does not mean pro-abortion) but the majority of people in Jackson (black AND white) are NOT pro-choice.  With that said, perhaps the state should go ahead and ban abortions.  While they're at it, they should continue their closet policy of racial segregation, which, though outlawed long ago, has been remained the unofficial policy, supported by white flight from the city to wealthy (and exclusive) suburbs, and from the public schools to private academies.  In essence, the public schools in Jackson-proper are for the black students, whereas the white students go to the swanky private academys (which were created around the time when desegregation was beginning to take place).  Of course, there are exceptions to this, and there are SOME very nice, progressive individuals who live here.  However, those progressive individuals are not the norm.

I do believe that perhaps this state should go ahead and remain in the 1950s and I'll choose to move back to civilization (far away from "The Deep South") when I have completed my degree.  It is not right of me to force my progressive views on them, any more than it is their right to force their oppressive views on me and on the young women who visit that abortion clinic each day.
What these anti-choice zealots can't stand is the fact that they will never be able to stop abortions. They simply want to make life harder for women.  Most women will be able to go to free countries or free states to have abortions.  Only the poor will be unable to get help.  Sadly, anti-choice fanatics  only have a love affair with fetuses.  They don't care what happens to the children after they are born.

Perhaps these fanatics should move to Iraq where the women could experience what is like lose control of their bodies (thus their lives) and these insecure men could enjoy being in total control of these pathetic women. That's the true purpose of the movement.
What gives them the right to tell these women what's acceptable for their body and what's not?  Who are they to judge?
Who gives a damn about Mississippi? It's the only state still refusing to ratify the 13 th admendment. All the racist bastards can go to hell while thumping their bibles.
"Abortion rights supporters" is such a politically correct term.  Why not call it what it is: Unborn baby killing supporters?  Most abortions are done for convenience sake.  As an adoptive mother I would only say that there are much better alternatives and I have nothing but respect for our child's birth mother.
It never fails to amaze me how the liberal media spins this issue to make it appear that the pro-life community are somehow the criminals and the bad guys and that the abortionists are heroes and the guys in the white hats standing up for women's rights. what an injustice that is! the pro-life people should be the real heroes for standing up for the lives of the unborn!! i pray for the day when unborn babies will have the same basic rights as the rest of us and be allowed to live life as we all do!!
Why is it that no one ever asks how many abandoned children are adopted by Pro-Lifers? If they are so "pro-life" why aren't  their energies directed toward the children that are dumped, abandoned, in foster care not only in the US, but globally.  Those children are undeniably alive and in need.
So here are some more conservatives showing how ignorant they are.  They hold this strange double standard on life.  On the one hand they predominantly support the death penalty, on the other they believe that a bundle of cells is more precious.  On one hand they pretend to care about a potential human life, yet the moment a child is born they'll refuse it healthcare, a proper education, or relief from poverty.  Instead of trying to attack abortions they should be spending their time attacking poverty, this would dramatically reduce abortion.
On second thought, I hope they do overturn Roe vs. Wade so the Republicans lose all of their seats in Congress and the Democrats can pass an amendment making a woman's body her own property for all time.
It's so great to think that those who vehemently oppose abortion are not taking a stand to adopt those they want to save.  It's also a great comfort to imagine that the great percentage of those who are so emotional on this issue likely support Bush's little war based on his lies of WMD.  It would seem that there is at least a LITTLE hypocrisy involved, and we all know what Jesus thought of hypocrits.
This is just outrageous and I really hate talking about this issue but I have to get this off my chest.  Abortion is cruel and wrong.  If a woman doesn't want a baby, she shouldn't try to have one.   I know there are exceptions but having an abortion just because you don't want the baby that came from having a midnight fling with a guy or don't want to go through the pains of childbirth is just plain selfishness on the mother's part.  A baby is alive even before his/her mother is pregnant, is alive the moment he/she enters the womb.  They deserve to have a chance at life just as we do.  There's a reason that baby was sent to the mother.  There will be some who will protest at those statements but that is my belief and I refuse to take it back.

If a woman doesn't want the baby, why not save herself the time and money, wait it out for nine months, have the baby, then put it up for adoption?  I would think having to wait would be much easier than spending alot of money murdering a defenseless baby.  After she dies, she'll have to face the child she murdered...and I'll bet that won't be a very nice meeting.

Catherine: You are so right.  These children need good homes, and the eligible people should be flocking to foster care to help if they can afford it.  I hope if I ever get married and am unable to have kids that I'll have the ability (and bravery seeing as I have little experience of taking care of children) to adopt.

It amazes me that people will cringe when they hear the words "child abuse" yet some don't mind taking the life of an unborn, but alive, baby.  Something is seriously wrong with the way our society as a whole thinks.  And then we wonder why the rest of the world hates us.

Should I mention that the initial case... Roe v. Wade... was based on a lie to begin with?  It was supposed to be a fight for abortion, for a woman who claimed to have been raped!  In reality, it was consensual sex that resulted in a pregnancy!

When I see an infant in NICU at 20+ weeks breathing on it own with perfect little fingers, toes, etc... it is outrageous to think that these precious gifts are killed, routinely, on a daily basis.  It is ridiculous to state that this is a medically made decision, when the fact is the decision is on majority a convenience decision.  Also, it is not a decision primarily being made by the youth, but by adult women who do not want to be inconvenienced from the result of a decision to engage in promiscous sex.

Also, I know personally that MANY pro-life organizations work in great effort to support mothers who choose life over murder!  A center that I volunteered at as a teen informed the individuals on the procedures they were seeking and the reality of the life within them (not a clump of cells as previously stated)!  At 8 weeks, when most women realize they are pregnant, the baby already has a heartbeat!  The center organized care for mothers, education on infant care, collected clothing donations for mothers and newborns along with necessities such as strollers, carriers, supplies, etc.  Information for adoption centers was also on hand!  There was also a list of volunteers who would take in any mother who was rejected from her home due to the unexpected pregnancy!

There is a definite link between abortion and infertility!  One of the volunteers I worked with had an abortion at the age of 18, and in her late 20's tried repeatedly to have a child only to miscarriage each time.  This is one case of many that I know of personally.  This is besides the emotional health of the individuals who go in for a 'simple' procedure and then must live with that choice.  Their social/ emotional needs are of no concern to these abortion clinics who perform their hundreds of routine/ affordable abortions!

I also agree that there is no known statistic for 'back alley'/'clothes hanger abortions'!  I personallly see this as a simple use of false propoganda to put fear in the minds of those who do not know any better!  I am pro-choice... the choice in whether or not to engage in an activity that carries consequences such as pregnancy, and the choice to engage in that activity with or without protection against pregnancy!  From there, when there is a consequence to my actions, I should NOT have the choice to take a life in order to avoid the consequences of my actions!

In a time and age where the information is available to make informed decisions, such as an ultrasound to see this supposed 'bundle of cells', why would any woman complain about being informed about her own body and what is going on inside of it!  Of course, I suppose murder of your unborn baby is an easier option when you are un-informed!
I live in Jackson and drive by the clinic almost daily.  Jackson is filled with right-winged, religious nuts who use the terms "pro-choice" and "pro-abortion" interchangeably. These people are NOT pro-life; they are PRO-BIRTH because once the baby is born, they want nothing to do with it, ESPECIALLY not from a financial aspect.  Do people not realize that  1) once made illegal, abortions will go to the black market which means more crimes (more jail space needed and more deaths.  And if you aren't familiar w/ how black market products and services negatively affect the U.S. economy, I suggest you pick up a book; and 2) People who have abortions do so b/c they cannot afford to support this child.  Would you rather the child be raised in an impoverished home with little food, poor education, and a terrible home life??  These are the children that grow up to steal, rape, and kill.  So until you "pro-lifers" are willing to give monetary donations to these mothers, quit your complaining and worry about your own life.
Abortion is indeed murder and I feel it is no worse for one who performs them to die at the hands of a deranged anti-abortionist.  I,m not condoning murder in any form.  These tiny babies need an advocate to keep them alive and please be one!!!!!!  Search your heart for the truth.
the state or on the fed level should make no laws legalizing death "anykind of death" unless in a time of war and only if we are attacked to save the american people. the only way we should die is if its our time. is it ok if i kill my 10 baby girls until i get a boy ?
I guess I'm an unborn baby killer supporter then. I don't really mind either way. Euphemisms are silly.
If abortion is to remain legal then all murder should be made legal.  If the argument is "legalize it because it happens anyway", then legalize rape and child abuse and drunk driving.
The problem here is that the concept of absolute right and wrong has been exchanged for a million shades of gray that only serve our selfishness.
I volunteer for a crisis pregnancy center and I lost count of all the times I hear "I am completely against abortion because I believe it's murder, but I'm choosing to have one because I can't tell my parent's I'm pregnant" (or, "because my boyfriend will break up with me" or, "it'll interfere with school")  We're raising a generation of people without convictions, a generation that will let temporal needs overshadow even thier own belief systems, who can't even glean from their own ideals for comfort. And they're being told that it's acceptable. The abortion issue is only a symptom of a far deeper reaching problem that no one seems to care to face.
In this God rejecting world, abortion is as easy way out for many for an unwanted child. God sanctions and blesses sex inside marriage. God is happy with children born to a man and a woman in a whole and loving family. How sad that many in our society have chosen to reject God and His values, and decided to go their own way, creating chaos as they murder unborn children. We all will meet our Maker when we leave this life on earth, and without the provision God has made for sin by the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, it will not go well for some. Yes, it is sin to murder unborn babies, no matter what delusion some are living with. After our death, there will be no more rationalization or delusion. All will be laid bare before The Almighty.
Until a man is able to give birth...they shouldn't be mandating what a woman does with her body.  I find it ridiculous that we have viagra being completely covered by insurance companies as well as condoms being otc and relatively cheap for males...but birth control is still an issue.  Possession is 9/10ths of the law and therefore it is a womans right to do what she wants with what is in her body.  And then there is the sex education issue.  We NEED to teach sex ed and not abstinance only programs!!!!  Until our bodies adapt to how we live longer (as in males don't get their first wet dream until 25 and women don't get periods until they are 25), we are still primal and sexual urges occur from the age of 9 until we are dead.  Sex ed is imperative!!! Teach safe sex and teach women to take care of themselfs...and guess what?  The abortion rate will DROP!  Common sense people...common sense!!!
As someone who has had an abortion, I do not regret it for one day of my life.  It was not a time when I could've handled having a child and if I hadn't been able to legally have the procedure, I would've risked death by having it done another way.  To take away the rights of women to do what they need to do based on their circumstances is ridiculous.  It is the choice of the woman and I agree that these anti-abortionists do nothing to help these people they feel must carry a baby to term.  How about funding sex ed classes that will teach these kids how to truly avoid pregnancy but at the same time being realistic enough to teach more than abstinance!
Abortion kills innocent children - it is murder of our most vulnerable. It is a heinous practice, and belongs in secret, and in back allies. Women, please be smarter and quit having sex with any idiot who says he loves you. Get into a committed relationship and stay there.
The USA should have a mandatory registration of Pro/Anti Abortion voters.
All those who oppose should then be required to pay taxes to support all the babies that are brought into this world as a result of anti-abortion laws.
If this is done - I will support anti-abortion laws.
It is strange - anti-abortion supporters are the most mentally ill people in the USA.  They certainly don't mind when children in the USA go without medical care, food or shelter.  They find murder ok - but not abortion.
I know many, many adopted Americans. When abortion was legalized, it gave men another reason to pressure women for premarital sex. Women would eventually become less promiscuous if abortion was not available. Parents might start asserting parental authority instead of letting teens have so much alone-time. STD and Aids would decrease. Unless we don't want that to happen.
The law or these religious people can NOT stop women from performing abortions.  Many women can not manage raising a child but they accidentally end up pregnant.  Anyone with any shred of Christian kindness would support an EARLY abortion that is performed in a safe and sterile medical facility. I do not believe that the fetus would feel pain and do believe that the child is better off, especially with a drug addicted child for a would-be-mother.  Notice these protestors do NOT propose to adopt and raise these children.  They are hypocrites, working through some personal and internal problem rather than actually caring about babies.
People need to start taken responsibility for their actions.killing an innocent child is such a terrible thing.
Has anyone ever heard of adoption?  Childless couples in this country are going to any country whre there may be a baby available to adopt. I know one couple with 3 Chinese babies, one with a severe handicap, another with a Russian child, another with a baby from Viet Nam, Korea and one from Mexico and the last three are in one family.  Alas, there are no babies to be had, they're in trash bags with their brains sucked out.  These couples would willingly pay to cover medical bills and would take these children being aborted, so don't whine about no one wanting to take care of these poor children. Women who abort don't and won't take the time and responsibility to do what is right and moral and place these unwanted babies, live ones, in the arms of someone who can nurture and love them.  How sad and how low we as human beings have sunk.  Go Mississippi!!
Pro-life is an oxymoron to begin with.  If you readily agree to sent kids to Iraq to die, or if you believe in the death penalty you are not pro-life.  You are selective life..Unwanted preganancy are nothing new. The abortion debate is plain and simply a matter of "religious & moral beliefs". No different than the euthanisia debate. If you are against it fine, but you do not have the right to decide for other people what choice they should make. We live in a country based on freedom of choice and religion. Those who are fanatical enough to react with violence again or not pro-life, just pro their opinion.
There's a group of people, men, and women who're seriously interested in having their children, regardless of income, social standing, disability, or anything else. I'm not putting down anyone who feels they cannot cope with a baby.  But there are so  many who'd give anything to adopt those babies these people could have that they can't.  Is there a place for those who actually want children in the political fight?  We're out here.
I'm sick of hearing generalization like "pro-lifers" and  "fanatics" being applied to the entire category of people who are fighting for abortion to be made illegal. I am an 18 year old male who believes that every person is responsible for their own actions; therefore, if a women chooses to have sex and gets pregnant, she is responsible not only to not have an abortion, but to take care of herself so as to give the baby the best possible chance of survival. What about cases of rape or incest you ask? Should a mother be forced to give birth to a baby brought about through something as terrible as those two things? No, she shouldn't. But should a child be killed because of its parents or how it was created? The answer is the same--No it shouldn't. The fact is most abortions performed are not because a mother was raped or became pregnant in an incestuous relationship, they are performed for convenience reasons (and yes there are statistics backing this claim up). And for those people who are asking why "pro-lifers" are so arduously fighting for the unborn when they should be fighting for children without homes, the reason is because the unborn LITERALLY HAVE NO VOICE. I honestly and truly would NEVER call a woman who obtained an abortion a murderer, but I do think that America, as a country, is currently taking a terrible risk in allowing abortions to be performed. I have done a ridiculous amount of research on the subject and for every plausible reason abortions should be legal there is just as plausible of a counter argument describing how they are murder. I doubt anyone can provide evidence proving that life does NOT begin at conception conclusive enough that they would be willing to bet the lives of all the children that have been and will be aborted (guttmacher.org if you need an exact number)on it. Are we, as a country, willing to take this risk?

It all boils down to the level of sanity the man and woman were raised with.  Whether the insanity came from the parents at home, teachers at school, "friends," you name it.  The two will have intercourse, and then regret it ONLY AFTER they both realize she is pregnant.  See, when adults teach innocent kids that sex is a toy, that creates immitators who think they can use it and abuse it to the umpteenth degree, which results in an addiction to the "rush" feeling, and eventually pregnancy.  Getting an abortion is really either or both party's way of quietly admitting with true B&W guilt that one or the other (or both) apparently have not reached a maturity level adequate enough to ensure a high-percentage return in the comfort intelligence levels of their offspring.  If having intercourse had a 100% guarantee of offspring, the abortion industry would not exist, as the two would correctly treat choosing to have intercourse as choosing pregnancy and to have a family; they would make the decision to have an "abortion" at the correct time by simply splitting up and not having intercourse in the first place.  Since it basically means "abuse of power," what happens is the body's functions are taken advantage of, as the purpose of sex in pregnancies resulting in abortions was all about the adrenaline rush, not an interest in having children.  For me to do my part in working towards elimination of the abortion industry, I simply must teach adolescents to treat the decision to have intercourse as the same as, or equal to, the decision to have a family.  The worst of it is, the more the two parties enjoy "feeling it" during the intercourse, the MORE their CHANCES actually ARE of getting the female pregnant and having babies - as opposed to doing it for the SOLE purpose of having kids (little to no love involved).
I am 18 and a senior in highschool, and I believe in pro choice.  I live in a small rural community where things like this are just completely disreguarded and you are looked down upon for even supporting such a thing.  I am currently in my human development class typing out a persuasive essay over pro choice, contrasted to the reast of my class writing over the how abortion is murder and such.  I have been doing my research mind you, but if anyone has any helpful sites, I would gladly check them out.  Thanks
I am currently attending high school in a rural area and I certainly do not believe in pro choice. I think that no baby should be aborted even if it was by accident. It certainly is not the babies fault. I believe in pro life.
P.S. Steven your hott and I go to Barr-Reeve 2.
un born = not alive, therefore how can something that was never born be killed
FYI judy a baby once it is conceived is living, therefore it is ALIVE. It is a cell, which is the smallest form of life. get your facts straight BEFORE you start preaching your beliefs to others
I am so glad that a church put up on their markee, "Thank your mother for being Pro-Life."  I am completely against Abortion.  I would like to tell President Obama that this act is "murder," and he is a "murderer" as long as he is condoning it.
