Brian--  Is your healthy sense of humor indicative of a healthy back also? I hope so! But a word of caution: troubled spines and airplane seats are not the best of friends, so please be careful going to New Orleans and do have a good weekend.
Brian -  re. today's "Early Nightly" effort, it's good to see you staying true to your roots.  Your comments on the newsroom clocks and Talking Man reassure those of us in for the long haul that, even though you've moved your HQ from Secaucus to 30 Rock, you remain mere miles from the mouth of the Lincoln Tunnel, jointly operated by the Port Authorities of New York and New Jersey.  Nicely done.
Good Evening Brian,
Greetings from GMT land, but we are actually on BST at the moment!! Must be something to do with us going metric? Just had to say a huge thank you for the job you do at NBC. Here across the pond we tune in every night at 11:30pm to watch the news live.
Even when reporting 'bad' news you give us the facts, straight and to the point.
The 'good' news well, bravo wonderful job, loved the Presidential Dogs the other night. Would they come and train my Golden.....please?
Seriously NBC finest news network station in the world.
Thank you for what you do.
Brian   Your wry sense of humor is appreciated (e.g., the GMT reference in the clock segment) and we also see some other snippets of your personality nightly on the news.  Very refreshing and down to earth.  Keep up the good work!
Love the outrages.  But on your newscast tonight, when you talked about the troops in Iraq, the title was COMIING HOME.  Still prefer your newscast over all the others.
I thought his comments about his clocks were hilarious and his comments about the annoying guy in the window the guy in the window were well founded.
I like it that a major anchor can be human and complain like the rest of us about such annoyances in life.  I hope that Brian can get the man removed on some kind of logical grounds and that someone comes
in to fix the clocks!  Good luck.
Brian- Early Nightly is the best! My husband found it today and it's a pleasure as are you delivering the news each night- we're loyal viewers and wouldn't dream of another newscast.  As always somehow you manage to blend the seriousness of our world with humor and a down to earth nature.  We so deperately need that at the end of each day-Thank you!
Most days I get the chance to watch the "Early Nightly."  I look forward to it most days over the actual news because it's less depressing.  It's also sometimes more interesting news.  I know what to expect from the the newscast most days, but you always keep us on our toes with your "behind the scenes" look and the many other friendly faces of your colleagues.  Keep it coming!

Much appreciated...
I have to tell you I thought this was one of the funniest things to watch on the web.  It is so nice to see Brian Williams in this setting and love his sense of humor... keep them coming!!!!
Brian,

Coverage of flooding in Ohio is really amazing - especially considering I live in Cincinnati, approximately 2.5 hours south of the flooding and we haven't seen any rain in 21 days and have been dealing with temperatures in excess of 100 degrees all week.  Today, the temp in my car read 105 degrees.  Amazing what a difference 150 miles makes.
I think headset guy across the way is really controlling your clocks.  It's not Ft. Collins.  Some tin foil over the windows should help.
I am unemploed and will graciously accept a potistion at your network too ensure that all the clocks are correct.
References?? Who needs them, I have a watch as well.
Its been many years since my whole family joined to watch a single show on TV, but we all gather around to watch the Nightly News since you have become the anchor.
I just received information about the Finland shooting and was totally in disbelief that more lives have been taken by a "hateful world" believer. This guy definitely planned out this insane attack."Live Leak" .com was the first to throw out the hints that there was going to be "something" going down. What are our schools coming to? It sure has changed since I went to school!

I have been watching this Presidential Campaign since it  began and for the first time after looking at the audience at the RNC tonite, it was shocking to see that  McCain has not considered the Afro-American or the Latinos, Asians etc.  There is a large base of all white voters he has reached, based on the audience at the RNC didn't it look like that is his only base.
So different from the DNC, there were nationalities from all walks of life.  So we got the message, the Republicans haven't CHANGE and they will never CHANGE!
We don't matter to those elitest!  Not only would we pass the test to be President of their USA - we would never fit into their definition of the USA.  They are not making history they have always been that way.  So who is Changing?  Voters are changing!  We will no longer be defined by the media as unlearned about the  politics of this great USA.  And for the record Obama is the best thing that every happened to politics.
Even if he never does everything he says he will if   he becomes President, I just appreciate the fact that everybody is included in his base, whether you want  be or not. And just like he says,Fred Thompson
and I agree, people(women) deciding to make a choice to eliminate life is above his pay-grade. This that individual and their G(g)ods' matter.
So we don't all see Obama as our god, but we see him as a man affording the American people ,  the right to make their own decisions and deal with the consequences. And since the Republicans set the tone when they were vetting Obama because they were too afraid to say they could never vote an Obama, use the same versions of the process for McCains' VP.  Oh, by the way I am a women of eight children, with a  17 year old pregnant daughter and in her senior year in high-school.  That is not the issue, the issue is  based on what they wanted us DUMB voters to believe, Obama must be vetted by the media because the voters didn't know him. Well thanks, we have gotten to know him, so lets be fair? Let's get to know McCains' VP.
So keep thinking we voters who are never mentioned in the polling (not that we care)ain't watching this historical election play out.  This is great!
