The GOP are lucky Americans aren't that smart in math. Obama wants to raise the debt for the recovery by 1 trillion dollars, while Congress set back and raised the debt by 3 trillion just for the Iraq invasion. The Law Makers often say their doing what the people want, I don't really think people want trillions spend and wasted in Iraq and giving the banks 700 billion for bonuses. Who knows maybe their right.

Thank goodness the birth control issue is on the back burner. Santorm saved his wife's life by signing for her to have an abortion, Ann Romney used estrogen found in birth control to help with her multiple sclerosis and Newt mistresses had to be on something as young as they were not to have any children.

Arizona 100 years and thanks to the success of the Mexican/American War. Many towns named after Mexican leaders, now the Governor wants that to be forgotten. Many Americans aren't aware of much of US History as we have heard from the current candidates.

Iran/Israel conflict is now the main topic. Israel leaders are considering putting their planes in the air/calling the President to step in to help a friend. PM said if Obama refused Israel will announce the United States can't be trusted to support their allies. Smart move on Israel's part as if forcing the US to get into War with Iran. Israel will quickly pull out and let US Military take over the War and the cover the cost. Israel was promised by Senator McCain that if he won the office of the President he would invade Iran for Israel. Right now even candidates running for President said they would do as Israel ask. But with it looking like Obama could get re elected Israel has to put the US in a position to humiliate this country into doing what they want. All this conflict because Israel doesn't want Iran to have nuclear weapons but Israel has their own nuclear weapons to use to protect their country from an attack. Politics and War profiteering did so well for many and now they look to do it again.

I loved Jon Stewart show and his comment on who the Americans picked as this week's front runner.

Good Evening Mr.Williams, A fine broadcast this evening. Happy Valentine's Day!

First of all the report by Mr. Yang about soaring gas prices which is really taking a big part out of people's wallets. Seeing the gas prices now at the stations around the nation and learning what the prices will be by Memorial Day is staggering and disturbing. The national average being around $3.51 and then each major city with all rising prices is terrible for everyone. Making is difficult on families and businesses who are finding it hard to budget already annd now with rising gas prices it is even harder. Tensions in the Middle East don't help along with other factors. One hopes these high prices come down rather than keep going up.

The report by Mr.Miklaszewski from aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in travelling along the Strait of Hormuz told of how dangerous the waters with the Iranian military in constant surveillance of the US ships. Seeing the Iranian partrol boat come within a couple of miles of the US ship was disturbing and any miscalculation could lead to a conflict. Fortunately, the Iranian patrol boat backed off, but it was certainly a tense situation. The most dangerous stretch of waters with the Iranian military in full view along with cruise missles along the shoreline tells of how the US military must always be prepared for anything. Hopefully, things will remain calm and peaceful. Always proceeding with caution.

Terrible to see more shelling in Syria by the Syrian government on the city of Homs. One truly hopes the violence ceases.

The report by Anne Thompson from Pine Mountain, Ga showed how the warm temperatures have made the flowers and trees bloom early causing people's allergies to begin. The plants blooming too early and is a problem for many allergy sufferers and it seems to be earlier and earlier. It will make it a long Spring season of pollen counts in many States and it is awful for allergy sufferers.

I remember Mildred and Richard Loving as the case was headline news in 1967. Just think so much forward success only to see 2012 we're going backward. I always felt watching the Loving was much like the Dream Dr. King was speaking of in his speech.
