What we're following:
- Passengers tell of cruise ship panic
- Iran claims it has evidence that US behind 'terrorist' murder of nuclear scientist
- US to change quote on MLK memorial
And did you see...
- Barbour believes 215 Miss. pardons are 'valid'

Jan/Feb 2012 issue of "Foreign Affairs" makes the case for attacking Iran, but last night with Brian Williams it was
said both countries are aware of the high stakes;----------------- and, hopefully, cooler heads will prevail, and it will be the end
of the affair.
P.S. And then nobody has to give back the "engagement" ring. P.K.
Lester, A lot of unanswered questions about the Italian cruise ship wreck, and I listened in horror as the lady
from Bowling Green, Kentucky tell it in her own words. Terrifying, absolutely terrifying. At the end of your
broadcast was a story about Blackberry emails, which reminds me of robo calls. so I am hoping the people
involved get a break soon. I am not high tech with either but I can still relate. Have a nice evening!!!
Lester, I was just reading that it was Poet Maya Angelou who said ML King was arrogant in the truncated
version. Called him an arrogant twit in fact. Well, if I remember correctly, she came off arrogant in an interview
many years ago when she said she should not be interviewed for a job because of her literary merits. A
free pass was what she expected. I have a lousy memory and like I said many years ago, so I may be
mistaken. Have a great weekend. Phyllis
PS Lester, as I reflect on MLK Day, I am reminded that it is all about equality as it should be and all having a
shot at the American Dream and whoever said "they want what they can't have" was a snob if not
unChristian. Also President Obama promised his transparent govenment which in my mind is the New
Jerusalem and that is the Promise Land MLK spoke of. Have a nice day!!! Phyllis
